While we are very proud of the pyrotechnic effects we originally created, our Special Effects team started playing with Unreal’s new Niagara particle system. We discovered this new system gave us better overall performance and we couldn’t pass that up.

When we first Showcased Carbon at LDI 2019, we got a lot of compliments on our fire. We wanted to make sure the quality of those original particles weren’t lost.
